Macklins Academy vs Macklins U14

What a brilliant day for the club! Today, our Macklins Academy squad faced off against the Macklins U14s. While the girls were wearing different bibs and competing on opposite sides of the court, the true winner today was the Macklins spirit. Both teams showed immense respect, incredible togetherness, and proved that no matter the score, we are all proud to be part of one club.

Quarter 1: The game started as a fantastic, evenly matched battle as both squads tested each other's defences. We ended the first quarter tied at 3-3.

Quarter 2: The Academy girls really started to find their flow and click as a unit. Great passing and capitalisation on turnovers allowed us to pull ahead to a 10-5 lead.

Quarter 3: The U14s put up a fierce fight and made us work for every single pass, but the Academy squad kept their composure to extend the advantage to 14-7.

Quarter 4 (Final): A strong finish from both sides to close out a highly competitive game. The Academy secured the win with a final score of 19-10.

It was a joy to watch both teams push each other to be better while maintaining such a supportive and positive atmosphere throughout the entire match.
